A multi-volume picture book entitled Nihon Meiga Kagami (i.e., Examples of Famous Japanese Paintings) was edited by Moichi Tanaka and published in 1898. Two volumes included woodblock-printed copies of flower-bird paintings by Ōkyo Maruyama (1733-1795) and Rosetsu Nagasawa (1754-1799). These flower-bird pictures are shown here.
